About Us
The Story Behind the Name
KOI is drawn from the Koi Carp, whose growth is determined by the health of its environment. I chose it because I believe the same is true of leadership. The conversations, the culture and the relationships shape the quality of the work environment. A healthy environment brings out the best in people. That is where performance, engagement and growth are found.
Founded in 2009, KOI exists to help leaders and organisations get that environment right.
Isolde Norris
Working with Isolde, clients often notice something unexpected. The conversation goes deeper than they anticipated. Not just the presenting challenge, but something more fundamental: how they think, how they feel, and how they show up as a leader. That's intentional.
Isolde is a Master Accredited Executive Coach, Accredited Team Coach and Fellow of the Association for Coaching. She brings over 25 years of leadership experience to her practice. Her approach draws on a grounding in Gestalt coaching alongside somatic and body-based practices - working with clients not just cognitively, but at the level where lasting change most often begins.
Eimear Carney
Eimear is an accredited Professional Executive Coach and Fellow of the Association for Coaching, working with leaders and teams since 2015. Her early career spanned global roles with Diageo PLC and as General Manager in an Irish life sciences start-up – years immersed in financial discipline, marketing, and strategic decision-making. Over time she made a deliberate shift: from driving performance to developing people.
Today she coaches, mentors, and delivers bespoke leadership programmes across healthcare, financial services, education, and beyond – in both the public and private sectors.
